Cousineau Harp (c.1770)
This harp carries the inscription Cousineau, Rue de Poulies à Paris. Georges Cousineau (1733-1800) and his son Jacques-Georges Cousineau (1760-1836) numbered among the most renowned harp makers of their time. Both Queen Marie-Antoinette and later Empress Josephine obtained their harps from Cousineau.
