Josef Still
Josef Still, born in Deggendorf on the Danube in 1959, studied Catholic church music and organ at the State Academy of Music in Munich from 1979 under Professors Gerhard Weinberger and Franz Lehrndorfer.

This was followed by a postgraduate course in harpsichord with Professor Hedwig Bilgram. In 1983 he began working as a church musician and deanery cantor in Neu-Ulm. Since 1994, he has been the cathedral organist at Trier Cathedral and organ expert for the diocese of Trier. He has also become known through numerous concerts as an organist and harpsichordist, as well as through radio, television and CD recordings. In the complete recording of Max Reger's organ works on NAXOS, he is represented with three CDs on the Trier Swallow's Nest organ.
