Gilles Jullien was organist at Chartres Cathedral, one of the most famous cathedrals in the world. This 2-CD set contains Jullien's complete surviving oeuvre: Serge Schoonbroodt plays the organ works, and the ensemble Melante Amsterdam performs the very rarely heard "Motet de Sainte Cécile," a masterpiece of the French Baroque.
